We had brought our Akita mix into our family at a very young 6 weeks old. Biscuit lived to be more than 12 years and spent the last 4 years as a diabetic, needing insulin shots twice a day for his last years. He passed away recently just before dinner time, two days before Thanksgiving. He died of natural causes after not feeling himself for several days. We knew as a very important member of our family and deeply loved we would want to have a proper farewell for him, although living in the country, that has not always been the outcome. I did a small amount of research on pet cremation in our area, and although there were several choices, the DeJohn families’ reputation with people at this stage of life was the deciding factor. We called them that evening and they returned our call within minutes and in less than an hour, our arrangements for our beloved dog were made. We delivered Biscuit to Sherri the next day, Thanksgiving eve, I guess it could be called. Sherri and their service made us truly realize we had lost a very important part of our lives and they were totally professional from the beginning until we picked Biscuit’s ashes up a short week later. Even though it was the holiday week, they gave our beloved pet their full attention. We felt we could not have made a better choice in any way. Their caring, professionalism, and presentation could not be surpassed. Make the right choice and give them a call when the time comes. They made it a beautiful experience to remember Biscuit, our beloved pet, for eternity. Thank You Sherri. Thank You DeJohn Pet Services. ~ Greg
